Add a Table
To add a new table on your floor plan, follow the steps below:
- Access the floor plan view on your dashboard
- Right-click on the floor plan to access the Edit Floor Plan mode
- Right-click on the background of the floor plan and then click on Add Table
- In the settings of the table on the left, you have the following fields:
- Table number
- Table shape (rectangle or round)
- Table dimensions (for recommended table dimensions based on capacity, see below.)
- Minimum and maximum guests that the table can seat (note that the maximum number determines the number of chairs at the table)
- Rotate chairs to set their position around the table
- Associate an experience (must be activated)
- Table availability for reservations taken internally
- Table availability for reservations made online
- Click Save
- At the bottom of the page, click Done to exit Edit Floor Plan mode.
Important: Within a single floor plan, table numbers must be unique. However, using the same table number across different floor plans will link those tables together as a single entity. Any reservation placed on a table in one floor plan will automatically sync to the same-numbered table in the other floor plan.
Tip: To make adding a table even easier, right-click on an existing table and then click on Duplicate Tables.
Recommended table dimensions:
- For tables of 1 person and bar seats, we recommend dimensions of 22 x 22
- For tables of 2 people, we recommend dimensions of 24 x 24
- For tables of 3-4 people, we recommend dimensions of 24 x 36
- For tables of 5-6 people, we recommend dimensions of 24 x 38
Note: We do not recommend creating tables smaller than 18 x 18, as this may affect the visibility of times on them.
