The Libro Ticketing feature allows you to sell packages or tickets directly to your customers when they book online. This functionality not only helps you secure revenue for special events or fixed menus but also integrates seamlessly with your existing reservation widget. By setting up tickets in your Libro Back-Office, you gain full control over pricing, inventory, eligibility, and how you share these offers with your clientele.
Setting Up Your First Ticket Offer
The process of creating a ticket offer is managed through the Ticketing section of your Libro Back-Office.
Step 1: Navigate to Offers
- Log in to your Libro Back-Office.
- Go to the tab Ticketing, then click on the tab Offers.
- Click on the button New Offer.

Step 2: Define the Offer Details
You will fill out several fields to define your ticket or package:
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Product offered | Associate this offer with an existing product or choose New Product to create a new one. |
| Restaurant | The offer will be displayed on the widget of the selected restaurant. |
| Offer name | The title of your ticket displayed online. |
| Price | Per person, before taxes. |
| Tip | Can be applied in dollars or as a percentage. |
| Published | If checked, the offer is available online. |
| Sold out | If checked, the offer is displayed online as Sold Out. (This is automatically checked when inventory runs out). |
| Taxable | If checked, taxes will apply. |
| Fixed price | If checked, the price will not adjust according to the number of people. |
| Description | Descriptive text displayed online under the title of your ticket. |
| Minimum booking size | Display the online offer only for bookings of X people and more. |
| Maximum booking size | Display the online offer for bookings of less than X people. |
| Optional | If checked, your customers can skip this offer and book without paying. |
Step 3: Set Eligibility Periods
Eligibility periods control exactly when your offer appears on the widget.
- Click on Add an eligibility period.
- Decide the precise dates, hours, and days of the week the offer will be displayed on your widget.
- You can also associate the offer with certain experiences or specific tables (requires table inventory and configured experiences).
Note: If you do not add an eligibility period, the offer will automatically be displayed at all times on your widget.
Step 4: Manage Inventory (Optional)
If you have a limited number of tickets:
- Click on Activate quantity management for this product.
- Specify the total number of tickets available for sale.
- Once this quantity is sold, the Sold Out checkbox will automatically be checked, and the offer will show as Sold Out online.
Publishing and Sharing Your Tickets
You have two primary ways to sell your offers online: via your reservation widget or through a direct link.
Generate Reservations with Your Widget
When an offer is Published and an Eligibility Period is set:
- Your offer automatically appears on your reservation widget.
- Customers can select the offer and then choose the date, time, and number of people.
- Selecting a time slot here will create a new reservation, just like a standard reservation.
Customizing the Widget URL for a Specific Date
You can customize your widget URL to direct clients immediately to a specific date for your offer. This is ideal for promoting fixed-date events.
-
Locate your base URL: A Libro URL looks like this:
https://widgets.qa.libro.app/WEB/QC016929064483/book -
Add the date parameter: Append the parameter
?date=YYYY-MM-DDto the end of your URL. -
Example: To link directly to January 1st, 2025:
https://widgets.libro.app/WEB/QC016929064483/book?date=2025-01-01
Sell Tickets Without Creating Reservations (Direct Link)
To sell tickets only (no new reservation is generated), you can share the offer's direct link:
- After creating your offer, click on it in the Offers list.
- Select View to open it on a separate page.
- Simply copy and paste that page's URL to share it with specific clients.
Important Note: To prevent the offer from being sold through the widget while still using the direct link, make sure to add an eligibility period and enter a passed date.
Fixed Price Offers
For offers sold through the direct link, if the Fixed Price option is enabled, the ticket quantity counter will be disabled. This means the count will be fixed at 1 and cannot be updated by the customer, as the price is for the entire package/ticket, not per person.
Google Payments
The offers sold on your widget can be made available for reservations made on Google upon request. To request Google Payments activation, please contact us at support@librorez.com.
