Add a Table
To make changes to your floor plan, be sure to be logged in as an admin user.
To add a new table on your floor plan, follow the steps below:
- From the floor plan view on your dashboard, click on the pencil icon at the bottom right to access the edit floor plan mode
- Right-click on the background of the floor plan and then click on Add Table
- In the settings of the table on the left, you have the following option;
- Name the table
- Chose a table shape: square or round
- Modify the dimensions of the table
- Minimum and maximum of clients that the table can seat (note that the maximum number automatically determines the number of seats around the table)
- Rotation of the chaises to determine their position around the table
- Make the table available or non for reservations taken internally
- Make the table available or not for reservations taken online
- Associate an experience (available if activated)
Tips for choosing table dimensions:
- For tables of 1 person and for bar seats, we recommend dimensions of 22 x 22
- For tables of 2 people, we recommend dimensions of 24 x 24
- For tables of 3-4 people, we recommend dimensions of 24 x 36
- For tables of 5-6 people, we recommend dimensions of 24 x 38
Note: Although these dimensions are supported, we do not recommend creating tables smaller than 18 x 18, as this may affect the visibility of times on them.
To make this even easier it is possible to take an existing table, right-click on this table, then click on Duplicate Tables.
Important: It is not possible to give the same table number to two different tables. You can however have the same table number on tables that are on other floor plans. Those tables will be considered by the system to be the same. Therefore, if you place a reservation on that table on your first-floor plan, the reservation will also be assigned to this table on your other floor plans.
Modify a Table
To modify a table:
- Double-click on the table to make the settings of this specific table appear on the left of the floor plan or do a right-click on the table and then click on Edit Table. You can also select several tables in order to modify them all at the same time.
- From the settings, you can modify the number, shape, size, minimum and maximum number of people, availability, and experience.
- Click Save
Delete a table
