It is possible to create new guest files or modify existing ones directly from your dashboard. Modifying a guest's file allows you to update their contact information and to manage their communication preferences, including the preferred channel (email or SMS) and language for receiving messages.
Create a New Guest File
When you create a new reservation, a guest file will automatically be created in your system. If you wish to create a new file without placing a reservation, here is how to do so:
- From your dashboard, open the main menu (green square at the top left of the screen)
- Click on Guests
- To create a new file, click on the green + next to the search bar
- Fill out the guest information and click Save
The new file will be added to the list of clients and will be available when you add a new reservation.
Modify a Guest File
You can modify a guest file by either accessible the list of guests or through an existing reservation.
To access the list of guests:
- From your dashboard, open the main menu (green square at the top left of the screen)
- Click on Guests
- Use the search bar to find the guest and click on the file
- Modify the guest information and click Save
To modify a guest file through a reservation:
- Open an existing reservation
- Under the "Guest" section, click directly on the name of the guest to open the file
- Once the file is open, modify the information and click Save
