Retain Reservations with Suggested Locations on Your Widget

The Suggested Locations feature helps retain potential reservations when your restaurant is fully booked at a guest’s chosen time. When enabled, the reservation widget will suggest alternative restaurants within your branch network that have availability, reducing the risk of losing guests to competitors.

When navigating your widget, similar availabilities from other locations within your account will be suggested to your clients. If they cannot find the exact time they wish for at your location, they can quickly view other options.

Note: This feature is only available for multi-restaurant accounts

• Customizable and User-Friendly: Allows control over which suggested restaurants are displayed, ensuring suggestions align with your business preferences.

How the Feature Works for Guests

• Guests selecting a time on the reservation widget will see up to 5 suggested restaurants within a 30 km radius.
• Locations are sorted by proximity and only show available time slots closest to the guest's chosen time.
• Clicking a restaurant redirects the guest to that restaurant's reservation widget, allowing them to complete the reservation.

How to Activate the Feature

The suggested locations feature can be activated and configured directly from your Back Office.

1. Log in to the Back Office.
2. From My Restaurants, click on Settings.
3. Go to the Online Reservation Settings (Widget) section.
4. Toggle ON the Suggested Locations Configuration feature.
5. Save your settings to update the widget.

Configurable Options

You can configure the following options for the suggested locations feature:

• Time Suggestion: Adjust the default time displayed (6h30 PM). The closest times available to the selected time will be displayed. 
• Excluded Locations: Specify any locations that should not appear in the suggestions by toggling them off in the list. 

Notes:

• Only the restaurants within a 30km radius are listed in the suggested locations. If you do not see a location, it is because it is outside of this radius. 
• The widget limits suggestions to the five nearest locations with availability. Restaurants are displayed in order of proximity, and only the first five with the feature enabled will appear in your widget.
